"sound-hunter"

For the last 6 years Tidecruz has carefully recorded or "Sampled" virtually every sound around him as many ways as possible. From his own heart beat to the up close rustle of a friends dogs hair. Trashcan knocks in Kansas city, to city streets in NYC. People talking in Chicago train-stations to mountain top birds and wind in Colorado. Most of these sounds are used unchanged for percussion in the music. However, every now and then Tidecruz comes across sounds natural sounds known as "wood notes", or musical tones that naturally occur. These are among tidecruz favorite things in life. These are easily sampled, modulated and filtered into abstract sounds many listeners recognize as guitars, synthesizers, bells, horns or other actual musical instruments. To Tidecruz, everything is everything. For him personally, it's all about having it all recorded as best as possible and organized well, so when the song comes to his mind he can quickly get whichever recording would be close enough; tweak, modulate and filter it until it is exactly what he has herd within his mind. Tidecruz often receives messages and emails from various fans worldwide describing how the sounds "speak" to the listener or "say things and describe places" without using language. Tidecruz believes music to be the ultimate form of communication. No visual, no language needs to be implemented. Just mere sound can create a world in the listeners mind, and this powerful feed back from the audience, this wonderful connection with the listeners relaying what Tidecruz saw in his mind while creating, being written back is what keeps him going. Tidecruz appreciates all the love and support the listeners provide, as it is a sort of energy or fuel beyond food and water that drives and inspires more creations for the future. Tidecruz music is brought to you, by listeners like you. Thank you.
